"Monster Server"

This is a screenshot of a folder on our main hard drive at work. For those of you who don't know what those initials are, ask your local nerd. (Funny thing is we already have about 800gb's of files on there already)

Ubuntu

Brad Pitt: What is this concept of Ubuntu I keep reading about?

Desmond Tutu: Ubuntu is the essence of being human. And in our language a person is ubuntu, and ubuntu is a noun to speak about what it means to be human. In essence, it is something that you find especially in the Old Testament, where you’re not quite sure sometimes-when you are reading, say the Psalms-whether the Psalm is speaking, where it says, ‘I,’ only of an individual, or is it speaking in a corporate sense? We say a person is a person through other persons. You can’t be human in isolation. You are human only in relationships.

Brad Pitt: So that speaks to our interconnectedness.

Desmond Tutu: We are interconnected………………….

Some pretty insightful words. Came from this month's Vanity Fair "Africa: A Special Issue". The rest of the article is equally deep and meaningful, Desmond has some pretty wise things to say. Most of which I wish the christian community, myself included, could personify much better than we are currently.

THE 30 SECOND 411

My laptop crashed for the last time so now I have:

My desktop system's secondary hard drive crashed and had to go through data recovery with my brother-in-law so I am going through every photo I have ever taken (about 60gb) and prepping the good ones for print so I have a hard copy if that every happens again.

The Val Verde school year ended so I started my new job at Monster Media, Inc. and now I spend my days designing and pre-pressing car wraps in a pretty cool office with a pretty cool boss.

Rehearsals started for Ragtime and you can buy your tickets now or talk to me and I can get you the cast deal on them.

Katie

My parents got a new old dog (she's 6 years old) from some people at the church who were giving her away. If you can imagine it, she is even smaller than Toby, my wife's rat.

Original Mini-Mac

Was looking at photos on Adam's blog last night of the new midget in the family and I remembered I took some pictures of Aggie-Mac when she was only a few days old.

So do they look like sisters?
All I can say is Aggie didn't change, she just went blonde and taller.
